Getting Started!!!

I have recently embarked on a career in real estate after having been a stay at home mom and extremely involved volunteer for almost 18 years and a student for the last four years. As you can imagine, this has been quite an adjustment! I am making lots of changes now. I will be slowly, but surely, fixing up my home. My goal is to attempt to do so on a very tight budget by utilizing great sales, CraigsList, and re-purposing materials that I have on hand and can find. I will still have all the responsibilities of volunteering as well as my new job, so time will be an extremely valuable resource in this endeavour. I'm very interested to see what I can accomplish toward this end. I think the first project I will be tackling is the guest bathroom. Hopefully we can find ways to achieve the desired outcome while saving as much money as possible! I think that this is probably a goal that everyone shares now, especially with the economy in it's current state. I welcome input and advice, particularly if it can save some money! Thank you.
